Accessibility statement
Hometuary aims to be usable by everyone. Read about the accessibility features of this site and how to report a problem.
We want everyone to be able to read Hometuary, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.
What we do
- Pages use semantic HTML with a single main heading, ordered subheadings, landmarks and a skip link to the main content.
- Navigation works with a keyboard and on touch screens, and interactive elements have visible focus states.
- Images have text descriptions and set dimensions so layouts stay stable while loading.
- Text is set at a readable size and uses colour contrast intended to meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Pages work without scripts; only the mobile menu and ad loading use JavaScript.
Known limits
Some older articles embed images or tables sourced from third parties, and a few images may carry less descriptive alt text than we would like. We are improving these over time.
Tell us about a problem
